Houses are usually not designed to have one room alone. They have many different spaces and rooms that make it into a home and depending upon who you are, there will be certain spaces within your home that you will regard as your favourite.
Can you imagine how a family would operate if you all had to sleep in the same space even though you all went to bed at different times? Can you imagine trying to cook in the same space as the bathroom?
Youth work shouldn’t be a one room; one size fits all kind of approach
We want all young people to find their home in Christ but they aren’t all going to follow the same path to get there. They need variety, a multitude of places that they can engage in, communities they can participate in, space that they can own; much like the homes that they live in.
This is why we use and why every big event, smallgroup, streetwork, schools etc is called a room; it is these rooms that allow us to achieve our desire to be at the heart of our community.
They all work independently of each other but are still under the same roof, the same home;
