We achieve what we do in Destination:Home through the use of rooms.

Rooms are the name that we give to any event, smallgroup, streetwork, schools club that we run within a given week.

Each room differs in how it looks and what it provides but it will always contain some one or more of the principles that guide Destination:Home

What occurs in each room and how it looks is dependant upon the people that come or want to come to each room.

We believe every young person is on a journey towards God, some know it and work on it, some don’t care about him and have no clue that he exists. Regardless of where they stand on this journey we believe that everyone should have the ability to connect with an environment where they can encounter Jesus.

Therefore every room/environment will look different; You wouldn’t decorate a 15 year old boy’s room with pink bows and kittens now would you or expect an 11 year old girl to enjoy a room dedicated to Manchester United (depending on how good looking the current crop of players are!)

We expect the young people in our community to move between rooms and as their journey progresses we expect what they are looking for in their environments to change too.

We have a desire to open up as many rooms as we can, in as many locations in our community as we can to care and help as many young people as we can. We are constantly trying to explore new opportunities and environments for our young people and are always open to new avenues that we haven’t yet explored.
