| 35 kids turned up for Radiate this week including 4 newcomers. There were lots of stories from the week of 'Living Bigger Than Ourselves' such as lending friends money, helping 1st years find their way around school and helping neighbours. Today we looked at David and Bathsheba; how bad choices don't have to mean that we have failed forever. During ministry time 7 kids responded; wanting to ask for forgiveness and move on from a mistake they had made. Another brilliant morning!! |

This week in Radiate was awesome! 2 kids became Christians!! We had 5 newcomers and 31 kids in total.
Neil talked about how David was the 1st person recorded in the Bible to kill a Giant, but after he killed Goliath, he made it possible and we hear a lot more stories of people killing giants. We challenged the kids to think about what 'giants' they could be the first to kill. 15 kids responded to becoming 'Giant killers and World changers'....amazing!! They were asked to write down areas they wanted to see breakthrough in - 6 wrote about poverty! Others included animal cruelty, innocent people being killed and bullying. How incredible to see the kids really responding and catching God's heart for them and their community!

31 kids showed up this week at Radiate including 8 newcomers!! Our regular kids gave up their seats for the newcomers! We talked about fighting for the small things in our lives looking at how, in the Bible, David and Eleazer fought the Philistines for a barley field...and won. We encouraged the guys to think about small things that they wanted to fight for in their own lives. About 8 of them responded to say they wanted to stand up and fight for things in their lives - it was great!!
When filling in the 'Living Bigger than Ourselves' sheet, we heard some great stories from the kids - washing neighbours' cars for free; buying coffee for their friends; working for their parents and refusing pocket money at the end. Amazing!!

Another great morning with 27 kids showing up including 3 newcomers. This week we started with some food before continuing with our discussion about God asking us to be the solution to problems we feel passionate about. We talked about how this was played out in the life of Moses. We ended with encouraging everyone to take risks for God and one kid even decided to become a Christian! Brilliant morning!!

19 kids showed up this morning and we had a great time! We talked about feeling that some situations aren't right or fair. To illustrate this half the guys pretended to be slaves, having to sit on the floor and not speak, while the other half were 'free'. The 'free' half were able to eat and drink whenever they wanted. We also discussed that often in these situations, God wants us to be part of the solution. The kids opened up about things in life that are unfair and they feel passionate about fighting against.
At the end 10 kids respnded to say they felt like they had walked away from God and they wanted to start over...incredible!!
